For retail and products

Enquiry, order, out of the door.

For shops, wholesalers, distributors, food and drink producers, manufacturers and makers. Result Studio tracks the customer enquiry through the quote to the order, and chases the trade account that has not paid.

Orders from enquiry and quote through fulfilling to delivered
Day one

It arrives set up for you, not for a sales office.

The board reads Enquiry, Quoted, Order placed, Fulfilling, Dispatched, Delivered, with Orders and Customers. Queues for Orders, Returns and Accounts, and labels for Trade, Retail and On hold.

This is the shape that suits trade and wholesale selling, where an order starts as a conversation. It is a weaker fit for high-volume consumer ecommerce, and the honest answer to that is below.

None of it is locked. Rename anything, add stages, delete what you do not use.

Customers

Trade accounts with a history.

Every order, enquiry, email and note against the customer. Products carry prices you can pull onto a quote, so repeat trade orders take seconds rather than a rebuild each time.

  • A product list with prices, pulled onto quotes
  • Full order history per customer
  • Trade and retail labels with different handling

Orders

What is where, and what goes out today.

Orders move across a board you can see at a glance, with a separate operations board for picking, packing and dispatch. Returns and problems land in their own queue rather than the same inbox as new enquiries.

  • A board for orders and one for fulfilment
  • Returns as a tracked queue with deadlines
  • Notes and photos against an order

Payment

The trade accounts that run late.

Invoice from the order, set recurring where a customer orders on a standing arrangement, and let Result Studio chase what is overdue. An On hold label keeps the accounts you have stopped supplying visible.

  • Invoices raised from the order
  • Automatic chasing on overdue accounts
  • Recurring invoices for standing orders

Straight answers

Including what it does not do.

Does it manage stock levels?

No, and this is the biggest gap for a product business. There is a product list with prices, but no stock quantities, reorder points or warehouse locations. If stock control is why you are looking, this will not do it.

Does it connect to Shopify, eBay, Amazon or a till?

No. There is no ecommerce or EPOS integration, no order sync and no barcode scanning. Orders are entered or arrive as enquiries through your own forms.

So who is this actually right for?

Trade, wholesale and made-to-order selling, where an order begins as a conversation and the relationship matters more than the volume. If you ship two hundred consumer parcels a day from a webshop, you want dedicated ecommerce software, not this.

Can customers pay an invoice by card?

Not yet. Bank transfer only, with card payment being built next.

Can I import my customer list?

Yes, from CSV with column mapping and a preview before anything is written.
